Bagnaia and Marquez were seen exchanging heated gestures in the gravel following the incident, but initially, it seemed they had not sustained any serious injuries.
Marquez drifted off course while he was holding onto third place, with six laps left in the race.
Starting from the fourth spot, Bagnaia made an attempt to pass him.
Bagnaia's Ducati appeared to be closely attached to the front of Marquez's bike.
The two bicycles became entangled and veered off the path.
For a few moments, Bagnaia found himself trapped under Marquez's Ducati during their slide.
However, he stood and motioned towards Marquez, indicating that he was fine.
He left with his leathers ripped and worn on his arm, but perhaps lucky that the injury wasn't more severe.
Bagnaia visited the medical facility for an examination.
Less than half an hour after their mishap, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen strolling through the paddock area, no longer wearing their racing suits, and appearing to be unharmed.
The matter is currently under scrutiny by the officials.
Defending MotoGP champion Bagnaia began Sunday three points behind the current championship frontrunner, Jorge Martin.
Martin's second-place finish at the Aragon MotoGP on Sunday has propelled him into the championship lead, now holding a 23-point advantage.
Marc Marquez emerged victorious in the race.
