Bagnaia and Marquez exchanged heated gestures in the gravel following the incident, but initially, it appeared that both had escaped serious harm.
Marquez drifted off course while trying to hold onto third place, with only six laps left.
Bagnaia, starting from the fourth spot, attempted to pass him.
Bagnaia's Ducati appeared to be clinging closely to the front of Marquez's bike.
The two bicycles became entangled and veered off the path.
For a brief moment, Bagnaia found himself trapped beneath Marquez's Ducati during their slide.
However, he stood up and motioned towards Marquez, indicating that he was fine.
He left the scene with his arm's leather coverings ripped and worn, yet possibly lucky that the harm wasn't more severe.
Bagnaia visited the health clinic for an examination.
Less than half an hour after their mishap, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen strolling through the paddock, not wearing their racing suits, and appeared to be unharmed.
Stewards are looking into the incident.
Defending MotoGP titleholder Bagnaia started Sunday three points behind the current championship frontrunner, Jorge Martin.
Securing second place on Sunday at the Aragon MotoGP, Martin has now taken a 23-point lead in the championship standings.
Marc Marquez emerged as the victor in the race.
