Bagnaia and Marquez were seen making angry gestures towards each other in the gravel following the incident, but initially, it seemed they hadn't sustained serious injuries.
Marquez veered off course while trying to maintain third place, with only six laps left in the race
Starting from the fourth spot, Bagnaia attempted a pass.
It appeared as though Bagnaia's Ducati was glued to the front of Marquez's bike.
The two bicycles became entangled and veered off the path.
For a brief period, Bagnaia found himself trapped under Marquez's Ducati during their slide.
However, he stood up to signal to Marquez, indicating that he was fine.
He moved off, his leathers scratched and worn on his arm, yet possibly lucky that the harm wasn't more severe.
Bagnaia visited the medical facility for an examination.
Less than half an hour after their mishap, Bagnaia and Marquez were seen strolling in the paddock area, no longer in their racing suits, and appeared to be unscathed.
Stewards are conducting an investigation into the incident.
Defending MotoGP titleholder Bagnaia began Sunday three points behind the current championship frontrunner, Jorge Martin.
Securing the second place on Sunday at the Aragon MotoGP, Martin has now taken a 23-point lead in the championship standings.
Marc Marquez clinched victory in the race.
