**”Daniel Ricciardo Faces Uncertain Future in F1: ‘I Take It Session by Session'”**
Daniel Ricciardo candidly acknowledges the looming possibility of his F1 career concluding in the near future. "I don't approach it race by race; I handle it session by session," he stated.
Daniel Ricciardo emphasizes that he is approaching his present Formula 1 career one session at a time, acknowledging the possibility that his time in the sport could be limited.
Red Bull’s choice to keep Sergio Perez for the latter part of the year dashed Ricciardo’s last chance of taking his place.
Ricciardo has been officially announced to remain in his RB car for the rest of this season, even though the highly-regarded Liam Lawson is ready to step in.
Unlike his teammate Yuki Tsunoda, Ricciardo has not yet secured a contract for the next season.
He mentioned to Motorsport that he doesn’t have an attitude of indifference.
"In my view, everything happening now feels like an extra blessing, because by the end of 2022, I genuinely believed that my Formula 1 racing days might be over."
"Therefore, if this opportunity comes with some pressure, we'll gladly accept the challenge."
“I'm beyond being hurt by anything now.
"I have no power over future events, but I can manage my performance on the track."
"I don't focus on races individually; instead, I concentrate on each practice session one at a time."
This year, Ricciardo was widely expected to take over Perez's spot at Red Bull.
Christian Horner played a key role in returning Ricciardo to the Formula 1 grid last year, midway through the season, with AlphaTauri.
He was unexpectedly let go by McLaren after an underwhelming period racing with Lando Norris.
However, Ricciardo's performance this season has seldom indicated that he would be a notable improvement over Perez in the Red Bull team.
After switching the chassis in China, the key moments included securing fourth place in the sprint race at the Miami Grand Prix and then achieving fifth place in the qualifying round for the Canadian Grand Prix.
However, he has also drawn detractors.
Former Formula 1 champion Alan Jones, who hails from Australia, stated that his fellow Australian driver's peak performance days are in the past.
Before the summer break, Ricciardo secured a 10th place finish in Belgium.
