Now centered on manufacturing of full buses and chassis over eight tonnes, Daimler Buses bought Mercedes-Benz Minibus in Dortmund to industrial group Aequita.

The customer acquired the corporate with 240 workers, “thereby securing the way forward for the Dortmund website”, in response to a Daimler assertion.

Manufacturing at Dortmund would proceed and Daimler Buses would help Aequita with gross sales and repair/elements.

Until Oberwerder, Daimler’s bus chief, stated: “We wish to focus… on our core enterprise and our strengths. Our focus was on sustaining jobs on the website and offering the plant promising prospects for the longer term.”
