The Parliament's press office will conduct a technical briefing regarding the confirmation hearings for the new Commission and discuss the Eurobarometer survey results post-election on October 3 at 10:30 a.m.

LOCATION: The Anna Politkovskaya pressroom in the SPAAK building (room 0A50) in Brussels, available through Interactio and live streaming.

In a briefing, the parliamentary press office will outline the process, timetable, regulations, and framework for the confirmation hearings. They will also explain the assessment criteria for the Commissioners-designate and detail the plenary vote on the entire college.

The media team will reveal the results of the inaugural continent-wide survey conducted after the European elections in June 2024. This survey, which interviewed over 26,000 individuals from all 27 EU member states, aimed to assess their voting patterns and key concerns.
