According to sources, ByteDance is reportedly planning to utilize Huawei chips for AI model training amidst US restrictions. It has been stated by insiders that ByteDance's forthcoming move in the AI competition is to employ Huawei's Ascend 910B chip to educate a comprehensive language AI model.
ByteDance has expanded its sourcing to local chip providers for artificial intelligence applications and hastened the progression of its proprietary tech since 2022 when the US began limiting the export of high-level AI chips, including those produced by industry leader Nvidia.
Artificial Intelligence has positioned itself at the heart of the tech sector, with companies in diverse fields such as video gaming and online retail setting themselves apart by incorporating tailored AI models. These models use pattern identification to make informed choices.
