ByteDance Gears Up for Global Expansion with Record $9.5 Billion Loan: The Largest Dollar-Denominated Corporate Facility in Asia
ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, is set to bolster its international operations thanks to a $9.5 billion loan from the bank. Analyst Li Chengdong says that the company's foreign e-commerce business, for instance, is currently in a 'development phase' where they are working on strengthening their ecosystem.
The loan in question is set to be the largest US dollar-denominated corporate credit line in Asia, Japan excluded, as per recent articles from Bloomberg and Reuters. Both publications quoted individuals who are knowledgeable about the issue.
