### “Binder Battles Tire Woes, Miller Edged Out by Rins in Aragon MotoGP Drama
Brad Binder exclaimed, "I did another rolling burnout!" Meanwhile, Jack Miller remarked that he was "nipped by Rins." Brad Binder also mentioned, "I had a solid strategy last night to avoid spinning off at the start…"
Brad Binder achieved his best MotoGP results since the season began in Qatar, securing 4th and 6th place finishes at the Aragon race.
Even though he veered off course in both races, his seventh-place finish came from the more favorable part of a messy starting lineup.
Throughout the middle portion of the race, Binder trailed behind newcomer Pedro Acosta. This contest turned into a fight for third place after an incident between Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia with only 5 laps remaining.
However, Acosta remained just beyond grasp.
“I came up with an excellent strategy last night to avoid losing traction at the start, and just like yesterday, I executed a rolling burnout!" Binder said with a smile.
"I navigated my way through and overtook several competitors. It was challenging to avoid errors as the front tire overheated while trailing others, right up until the final stretch of the race."
"I attempted to recover lost time by accelerating quickly out of the corners since I couldn't enter them at high speed due to the front tire overheating. However, this strategy backfired as the left side of the tire wore out completely by the end."
"I did everything I could to overtake Pedro, but I had no power left from behind!"
"Aside from that, we made several positive advancements this weekend. We experimented with the bike's balance, and it appeared to be effective throughout the race."
Fellow racer Jack Miller had a solid start, moving from 15th position on the grid to eighth place by the conclusion of the first lap. However, the Australian quickly encountered issues with maintaining rear tire traction.
After being overtaken by Alex Rins on the final lap and finishing in ninth place, he, along with two other riders, was given a 16-second penalty for tyre pressure violations, which ultimately placed him in 15th position.
"It was a lengthy race," stated Miller. "The track conditions varied once more; it had been dirty for most of the weekend but appeared to be more slippery today."
“I put in my best effort. It was challenging to manage the [medium] rear tire, and I experienced a significant highside incident while exiting the final corner.
"I found my groove and focused on maintaining it. There were several challenges transitioning from the outer edge to the center of the tire, but I managed to finish successfully."
"I didn't make any errors during the race, but I found it challenging to keep up with the guys ahead of me. We'll continue to work hard."
"I'm pleased to finish in the top ten, but getting overtaken by Rins on the final lap's back straight was tough. I was trying to be as accurate as possible, but my acceleration faltered, and he managed to pass me."
“We’ll return to Misano.”
KTM will have a total of five riders this weekend, as test rider Pol Espargaro joins as a wild-card entry.
“Next, we head to Misano, not just for the race but also to focus on the subsequent testing and Pol’s wildcard entry, which will be beneficial for our future,” stated team manager Francesco Guidotti.
The initial Misano MotoGP race will commence with Binder trailing Acosta by three points. Acosta currently occupies the fifth position in the world championship standings.
Miller, who might be formally announced as a Pramac Yamaha rider at the team's home races in Italy, currently holds the 15th position and is three points behind Monster Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo.
