Aston Martin F1 Secures Major Investment, Eyes £1.5bn Valuation as Adrian Newey Joins Team
Aston Martin F1 plans to sell a portion of its business, aiming for a valuation of £1.5 billion, coinciding with the arrival of Adrian Newey, according to a report by Sky News.
According to a report by Sky News, two significant investment funds will acquire a share in the Aston Martin F1 team.
The outcome will be that the F1 team is estimated to be worth between £1.5 billion and £2 billion.
According to Sky News, HPS Investment Partners, which oversees around £87.6 billion in assets, and Silicon Valley powerhouse Accel are set to pour hundreds of millions of pounds into the holding company of Aston Martin F1.
According to a source speaking to Sky News, AMR GP Holdings Limited is expected to have between 20% and 25% of its shares acquired.
Lawrence Stroll, a billionaire, owns the Aston Martin Formula 1 team.
According to the Financial Times, Stroll sold a portion of his ownership last year, which placed the value of his team at £1 billion.
Stroll will continue to be the main shareholder following this recent deal.
The extremely driven team, now operating out of their new headquarters in Silverstone and planning to collaborate with Honda for engines starting in 2026, are also expected to reveal that Adrian Newey will be joining them.
According to a report by the BBC, Aston Martin is set to reveal that the most accomplished car designer in F1 history will be joining their team in the near future.
