Alex Rins Set to Return for Indonesian MotoGP After Missing Misano Due to Illness
Alex Rins shares update on his status after sitting out Misano MotoGP
Alex Rins was absent from last weekend's race because of sickness
This weekend, Alex Rins is set to return to compete in Indonesia.
The Yamaha rider missed Friday's practice session at the Emilia Romagna MotoGP last weekend because he had a high fever. Despite trying to ride on Saturday, he had to pull out of the event.
A few days afterward at the Mandalika event, Yamaha will see Rins return to the race.
Rins expressed his disappointment over missing the race in Misano last weekend, but he announced that he has fully recovered and is eager to get back to riding.
"This time of the season is always a favorite of mine. We have numerous Grand Prix events back-to-back, and the enthusiasts in this region are incredibly passionate about MotoGP, which is really great to witness."
Colleague Fabio Quartararo remarked, “We are beginning the international circuit now, which is always thrilling.
"We rarely have the chance to meet our fans here, and their support means a lot to me. That’s why I always have a great time at these Grand Prix events. Plus, I'm a fan of the Mandalika circuit."
"I was on the podium in both 2022 and 2023. We will give our best effort again this year."
"We made progress in Misano, so I'm eager to find out how we'll perform this weekend."
Team manager Massimo Meregalli mentioned, "We journeyed directly from Misano to Mandalika."
"Alex is set to rejoin the team this week, bringing us back to full strength."
The Emilia-Romagna weekend turned out to be quite successful for our team. Our dedication and efforts are yielding results, and we aim to maintain this upward momentum.
"Having spent a considerable amount of time riding at Misano, we are curious to see how we perform on a totally different circuit."
The squad is extremely driven, particularly because we aim to deliver an excellent performance for the Indonesian supporters. Their enthusiasm for motorcycle racing is unparalleled, prompting the entire team to put in maximum effort.
Quartararo fell short of achieving his top performance of the season at Misano last weekend, losing it in the final corner.
Running out of fuel caused him to lose his fifth-place position, ultimately forcing him to finish in seventh place.
However, it signifies progress for Yamaha's leading figure.
Mandalika is a circuit he enjoys, where he secured second place in 2022 and third place in 2023.

Fabio Quartararo Opens Up: Why Moto2 Presented Greater Challenges Than MotoGP
The MotoGP competitor explains the reasons Moto2 presents more challenges
Rationale provided for the increased difficulty of Moto2
Fabio Quartararo contends that competing in Moto2 may pose greater challenges than racing in MotoGP.
The champion of the premier class in 2021 experienced a distinctive path to victory, as he didn't especially stand out in the lower ranks.

Quartararo finished in the 10th and 13th positions in Moto3, before moving up to Moto2 where he secured 13th place riding for Pons Racing and then 10th place with Speed Up Racing in his subsequent seasons.
However, he secured the MotoGP title riding a Yamaha on his third try.
"In my view, Moto2 stands as the toughest category among all," he shared with Motosprint.
"During my time in competition, various riding techniques were prevalent, making adaptation challenging. Conversely, in MotoGP, a singular style dominates, necessitating adherence to that specific approach."
"Adapting to MotoGP came more naturally to me than adjusting to Moto2: occasionally, the brakes posed a challenge, but overall, that was the case."
"Nothing is guaranteed"
Yamaha's downturn started during Quartararo's championship defense year, halfway into 2022.
Despite not securing a grand prix victory in over two years, he has recently reaffirmed his dedication to Yamaha by signing a multi-year contract earlier in the season, a deal that is said to elevate him to the position of the highest-earning rider in MotoGP.
When is the Japanese maker expected to get back on the victorious path?
"In these areas, there are no guarantees," he stated.
"Reflecting on the Sepang trials and comparing them to our present circumstances reveals a stark contrast, as we now understand the direction we need to pursue."
"Altering the mindset of Japanese engineers is no simple task, yet as an instance, we engaged in a significant hour-long meeting at Misano 1 on Friday, demonstrating a notable indication of progress."
Initially, he started to shift his mindset and pursue cycling.
"Expanding in the area of the chassis marks a major innovation for us. Our primary aim is to consistently make it into Q2, which can dramatically alter your experience throughout a weekend."

Jorge Martin’s Bold Leap: Embracing Change and Chasing Dreams Beyond MotoGP’s Top Bike
Jorge Martin candidly discusses his departure from MotoGP's premier motorcycle
Jorge Martin interrogated on his choice to depart from Ducati
Jorge Martin's transition to Aprilia in 2025 signifies his departure from what is considered the top motorcycle in MotoGP.
The Ducati GP24, utilized by the racers from both the factory and Pramac squads, has demonstrated superiority over the previous year's model piloted by Marc Marquez.

Martin is set to switch to Aprilia next year, marking a significant shift in his team affiliation.
He was asked how he really felt about passing on the top MotoGP motorcycle to another person.
"Or perhaps not. That's uncertain," he responded to AS.
Ultimately, our understanding is limited, and my focus is on taking this year one race at a time.
"Upon leaving [Barcelona], I'll start considering my plans for the upcoming year."
"I'm uncertain about what lies ahead. Whether it turns out to be positive or negative remains to be seen, so I'll deal with it when the time comes."
When inquired, Martin was questioned about whether he had ever thought about revisiting his choice to leave Ducati.
"Absolutely not," he asserted firmly.
"I have not changed my mind on that matter, nor do I intend to."
Ultimately, life presents moments where choices must be made, and this was such an occasion.
"I've pursued my passion with the aim of achieving it."
Initially, Ducati seemed poised to offer Pramac's Martin their factory seat for the 2025 season, but ultimately changed their decision in favor of Marquez.
Martin, who was unable to secure the much-desired red bike for the third consecutive occasion, quickly finalized an agreement to join Aprilia as a factory rider the following year.
He was inquired if his rapid decision stemmed from his resentment towards Ducati's refusal.
"He insisted that it wasn't necessary for him to speak."
"Each person is entitled to their opinion. I'm completely at peace with the choice I've made."
Martin might still bring the top position to Ducati's competitor from Italy.
He is set to take over from his close friend Aleix Espargaro at Aprilia.
In 2025, the MotoGP scene is set to undergo a significant transformation with Pecco Bagnaia and Marquez teaming up at the factory Ducati team, creating a powerful yet possibly unpredictable partnership.
Ducati's lineup will consist of six riders, down from eight, and they will field three factory bikes, a decrease from four.
For ten years, James worked as a sports reporter for Sky Sports, where he reported on a wide range of sports including American sports, soccer, and Formula 1.

Ducati’s Strategic Decision: Why Choosing Marc Marquez Over Other Stars Was Justified Amid “Expensive, Impossible” Dilemma
Ducati's decision to go with Marc Marquez makes sense following an "unaffordable, unfeasible" scenario
Situation deemed "nearly impossible to sustain" examined
It's asserted that Ducati had valid reasons for choosing Marc Marquez over their other top MotoGP racers, as they couldn't retain all of their leading talents.
Marquez is set to ascend from Gresini to join the official Ducati team in 2025, which notably means he will benefit from more advanced equipment.

Despite securing Grand Prix victories this season aboard last year's Desmosedici, Marquez is set to receive the same equipment and backing as Pecco Bagnaia next year, with aspirations of clinching yet another championship title.
While Marquez's career path is stable, Ducati will see Enea Bastianini move to KTM, Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi switch to Aprilia, and their Pramac satellite squad transition to Yamaha.
Former MotoGP team leader Livio Supppo explained to MOW Mag that Ducati's choices are based on sound reasoning, stating, "Certainly.
"When Ducati finds itself possessing the top-performing motorcycle and virtually all of the most skilled riders to operate it, the challenge becomes significant."
"Given that sustaining it is virtually unfeasible, even just from a financial standpoint."
"Take into account that they reached this point by initially relying on inexpensive young players, who, as their victories accumulated, became increasingly costly."
Allocating millions of euros amongst just four cyclists was not feasible, necessitating the need for selective decision-making.
It was expected that their situation wouldn't persist indefinitely.
"Clearly, Gigi Dall’Igna favored Martin moving to the rival team over Marquez."
Ducati played a key role in advancing Martin, Bezzecchi, and Bastianini into the top-tier racers and championship hopefuls they are today.
The ambition of every racer to gain support from manufacturers has resulted in their departure.
Opting for Marquez deviates from Ducati’s strategy of nurturing emerging talents, yet his exceptional wins this year vividly illustrate the rationale behind his selection.
In 2025, the composition of the grid will undergo a significant change with Ducati decreasing their bike count from eight to six, as Pramac shifts to teaming up with Yamaha.
In the upcoming season, only three Ducati factory teams (including Bagnaia, Marquez, and VR46’s Fabio di Giannantonio) will be competing, as opposed to the four teams that participated this year.
For ten years, James served as a sports reporter for Sky Sports, where he covered a wide range of events including American sports, football, and Formula 1.

Valentino Rossi Weighs in on Pedro Acosta’s Turbulent MotoGP Debut Year: The Promise and Perils
Valentino Rossi Comments on Pedro Acosta: "Injuries are More Common in MotoGP"
Valentino Rossi Talks About Pedro Acosta's Triumphs and Challenges
Valentino Rossi has evaluated the ups and downs experienced by Pedro Acosta during his first year in competition.
Acosta burst onto the MotoGP scene at the beginning of the year, securing two podium finishes in his first three Grand Prix races.

Nonetheless, as the season progressed, Acosta experienced a higher number of falls, attributable to his KTM's diminishing performance.
In Australia, Acosta was forced to withdraw from the grand prix after sustaining a shoulder injury caused by a fall during the sprint race.
"Rossi observed earlier this year during a discussion with Sky Italia that KTM appears to be facing significant challenges this season."
"Compared to the Ducati, the situation has deteriorated from last year, even for seasoned riders such as Brad Binder. This makes it particularly challenging for newcomers."
He came in brimming with confidence, deservedly so, but later on, he began to falter, experiencing a range of intense setbacks.
"In MotoGP, the impacts are more intense and impactful, leading to greater injuries…"
"This prompted him to ease off slightly. However, in my view, he's still very competitive, and should KTM narrow the gap to Ducati, he'll be leading the pack."
Acosta's exceptional performance at the start of the season prompted KTM to swiftly elevate him to their premier team, taking over Jack Miller's spot for the 2025 season.
Despite not fulfilling Jorge Lorenzo's earlier season forecast of securing a grand prix victory, Acosta has made a significant impact.
He and Binder have consistently outperformed all other riders not on Ducatis throughout the season.
For ten years, James worked as a sports reporter for Sky Sports, where he covered a wide range of sports including American sports, soccer, and Formula 1.

Ducati’s Strategic Gamble: Marc Marquez Appointment Justified Amid Costly MotoGP Shakeup
Ducati's decision to choose Marc Marquez was validated after facing a situation deemed "expensive and unattainable." The scenario described as "nearly unmanageable" was thoroughly examined.
It is reported that Ducati faced a dilemma in retaining all their top MotoGP racers and made a reasonable decision in selecting Marc Marquez.
In 2025, Marquez is set to move up from the Gresini team to the official Ducati team, which is especially important as it means he will have access to superior equipment.

Even though Marquez has achieved grand prix victories this season using last year's Desmosedici model, he will have the same gear and backing as Pecco Bagnaia next year, as he aspires to clinch another championship.
While Marquez's future remains safe, Ducati is set to lose Enea Bastianini to KTM, with Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi moving to Aprilia, and their Pramac satellite team transferring to Yamaha.
Former MotoGP team manager Livio Suppo explained to MOW Mag that Ducati's choices are indeed sensible: "Absolutely.
When you're in Ducati's position, having the top motorcycle and nearly all the best racers to handle it, the situation becomes quite challenging.
"It is nearly unfeasible to sustain, even just from a financial standpoint."
"Think about how they reached this point with initially affordable young players; however, as they achieve more victories, their expenses increase."
"It's not feasible to distribute millions of euros among just four cyclists, so decisions had to be made."
"It was expected that their situation wouldn't last indefinitely."
It seems that Gigi Dall'Igna wanted Martin to join the rival team instead of Marquez.
Ducati played a crucial role in transforming Martin, Bezzecchi, and Bastianini into elite race winners and strong title challengers in the top racing category.
However, each rider's wish to gain backing from the manufacturer has resulted in their departure.
Opting for Marquez contradicts Ducati's usual approach of nurturing young talent, yet his impressive wins this season highlight the reason behind his selection.
In 2025, the lineup will change significantly as Ducati's representation will decrease from eight motorcycles to six, with Pramac transitioning to align with Yamaha.
Next year, the lineup will include just three factory Ducati riders: Bagnaia, Marquez, and Fabio di Giannantonio from the VR46 team, as opposed to the four participating this year.
For ten years, James worked as a sports reporter at Sky Sports, where he reported on various athletic events, including American sports, soccer, and Formula 1 racing.

Mid-season, Acosta experienced an increase in crashes due to his KTM's underperformance.
During the sprint race in Australia, Acosta suffered a shoulder injury from a fall, preventing him from participating in the grand prix.
Earlier this year, Rossi shared his thoughts with Sky Italia, stating that the KTM appears to be facing significant challenges this season.
"It's more challenging than it was last year when compared to the Ducati, even for seasoned riders like Brad Binder who are familiar with that bike, making it especially tough for newcomers."
"He came in feeling great, as expected, but later he began to experience a significant and intense downturn."
"In MotoGP, the impacts are more intense; you really feel them, and the injuries are more severe…"
"This caused him to ease off the accelerator somewhat. However, I believe he is still quite powerful, and if KTM can narrow the gap with Ducati, he will be leading the pack."
Due to Acosta's impressive performance at the start of the season, KTM swiftly decided to elevate him to their factory team, replacing Jack Miller, for the 2025 season.
While he hasn't fulfilled Jorge Lorenzo's earlier season prediction of a grand prix victory, Acosta has made a significant impression.
Throughout this year, he and Binder have regularly been the highest-performing riders not on Ducati bikes.
For ten years, James worked as a sports reporter at Sky Sports, where he covered a wide range of events, including American sports, soccer, and Formula 1 racing.

Marc Marquez Faces Uphill Battle Against Ducati’s Unmatched GP24 in MotoGP Title Race
Marc Marquez receives disappointing news as the "most impressive motorcycle ever" is identified. "This spells trouble for competitors in 2025."

Competitors for the title, Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin, are riding the newest model of the Desmosedici, which adds to the challenges faced by Marquez, who is using a model from the previous year.
According to Michael Laverty from TNT Sports, Pramac has access to the same equipment as Pecco. While the GP23 is a competent bike, it is not the newest model, being a year older.
"It has difficulty optimizing the tire performance. It doesn't match up to Ducati's latest motorcycle."
During the Misano test, Pecco mentioned that the new chassis is performing even more effectively with the new tire.
"The situation looks grim for the competitors in 2025, as Ducati is leading the pack."
Marquez is expected to gain significant advantages next season with an upgrade in his equipment.
His move from Gresini to the official Ducati team ensures he will have the same equipment as Bagnaia in 2025.
Martin is set to ride an Aprilia, while Bastianini will switch to a KTM after leaving Ducati, who opted to pick Marquez for their factory team instead of him.
Laverty emphasizes that the new Ducati model's significance is evident this season.
He remarked that if Bastianini started the season strong, he would be a significant challenge for both Martin and Pecco.
"According to statistics, securing a championship requires riding the newest Ducati."
"I must admit, the GP24 is the most impressive motorcycle we've encountered."
"It's currently the most advanced technology available. Its performance is exceptional, delivering rapid results and consistently setting new lap records each weekend."
"They continue to drive progress, and there is still more ahead."
For the 2026 season, MotoGP plans to implement a halt on engine development in preparation for significant technical changes set for the year after.
Neil Hodgson thinks that this regulation might give an additional advantage to the leading Ducati team.
This situation poses a possible challenge for Aprilia and KTM, who are their closest competitors at the moment, as they must be careful not to make any mistakes.
Hodgson stated that the system benefits the Japanese manufacturers, but not Aprilia and KTM.
Ducati would have eagerly pushed for the freeze to start immediately.
By the start of the 2025 season, the chosen engine will remain in use throughout 2025 and continue into 2026.
"This winter is crucial for Aprilia and KTM as they face significant pressure to choose wisely. A poor choice could lead to two years of setbacks for them."
For ten years, James worked as a sports journalist with Sky Sports, reporting on a variety of topics including American sports, soccer, and Formula 1 racing.

Mick Doohan Urges Honda to Revive Winning Spirit: A Call for Change in MotoGP Strategy
"I opted for one-year contracts since Honda demonstrated a stronger commitment to winning compared to other teams," says Mick Doohan, urging Honda to shift their "mindset."
Mick Doohan has looked back on his successful period with Honda and offered suggestions on how they can reclaim their leading position in MotoGP.
The renowned Australian secured five titles in the 500cc category and is nearing the 30th anniversary of his initial victory, which occurred in 1994.

Throughout his prime, Doohan was a rider for Honda, though the Japanese company has faced challenges in recent times.
Doohan mentioned that he spent a significant period with Honda during his racing career.
"I opted for one-year contracts because their dedication to winning was stronger compared to other manufacturers, both in terms of technical staff and overall backing."
"That's the reason I stayed."
"It's disheartening to see them in their current situation."
In my view, the pandemic caused a setback for the Japanese manufacturer, whereas the European manufacturers kept advancing, both in terms of electronics and other sectors.
"They will return, but a shift in perspective is necessary."
Yamaha appears to be making significant progress in reaching their goals for the coming year, and I am optimistic that Honda will follow in a similar direction.
"It's beneficial to see various brands vying for the title."
Doohan recalled winning his first championship: "It feels like ages since that happened 30 years ago. My racing days appear to be from another era…"
"I have a lot of cherished memories. I loved the competition, the effort, and the dedication."
"Fulfilling the dream brought a sense of relief. In previous years, I had come close, but setbacks from injuries and technical problems held me back."
"I had finished in second place a few times before, so securing a victory was a huge relief."
"However, I realized that the real effort was just starting because my goal was to win more than just a single championship."
At present, Honda is not close to securing another world champion title.
Marc Marquez left the team a year ago because they were not competitive, and they continue to stay at the bottom of the rankings.
However, they have enlisted Aleix Espargaro, who is retiring from racing with Aprilia, to serve as a test rider in 2025 for the purpose of advancing their motorcycle development
Romano Albesiano is set to transition from Aprilia to Honda. Albesiano, who is highly esteemed in the industry, will take on the role of HRC technical director in the upcoming season.
"Doohan remarked that choosing Aleix as a test rider is a smart decision."
"They require someone who is fast and comprehends what the bike needs to advance."
For ten years, James worked as a sports reporter at Sky Sports, where he covered a wide range of events, including American sports, football, and Formula 1 racing.

Ducati Sticks to No Team Orders in MotoGP Finale, Issues Stern Warning to Riders
Ducati cautions riders: ‘Avoid reckless actions’
Ducati’s title battle comes with no team orders, though a cautionary note has been given.
Ducati appears to be continuing its approach of not implementing team orders for the conclusion of the 2024 MotoGP championship race. However, the team has advised its riders to avoid making any reckless decisions.
Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia are gearing up for the final race of the season in Barcelona next weekend, with Martin trailing Bagnaia by 24 points. To secure the championship, Martin must earn at least two more points than Bagnaia.

For several weeks, Ducati riders have faced questions regarding potential team orders, but the Italian brand has decided not to implement them.
A significant challenge for Ducati in executing any directives is that Martin and Bagnaia have consistently outperformed their competitors.
During the Malaysian Grand Prix, Enea Bastianini, who finished in third place, was trailing Martin by seven seconds and was 10.4 seconds behind his teammate Bagnaia.
The pair of Ducati racers, Bastianini and Marc Marquez, have successfully joined the leading group. Meanwhile, they are also engaged in their own competition for the third position in the rankings, with Marquez currently holding a slight advantage by one point.
Davide Tardozzi, the manager of the Ducati team, finds it "very difficult" to arrange any directives from the factory. However, he states that the brand will keep delivering the same caution it has been giving throughout the year.
"It's quite challenging since Jorge and Pecco are competing for the top spot, but Marc and Enea are the two racers who can influence the outcome in either direction," he mentioned to TNT Sport.
"They are competing for the third position in the championship."
"Ultimately, finishing in third position in the championship is quite commendable for various reasons."
"It seems challenging to have a conversation on this topic. Additionally, I prefer to allow the racers to compete independently for their own titles."
The message remains consistent since mid-year: avoid unnecessary conflicts among yourselves. We aim to prevent any significant animosity or tension between our leading individuals.
In 2017, Ducati's team orders gained notoriety when Jorge Lorenzo received a 'mapping 8' alert on his dashboard on two occasions, signaling him to allow his teammate Andrea Dovizioso to pass.
At the Malaysian Grand Prix, Dovizioso finished in front of Lorenzo following the instruction, but at the final race in Valencia, the directive was not followed.
In the past two years, Ducati has decided not to place factory orders.

Fabio Quartararo Reveals Why Moto2 Poses a Greater Challenge Than MotoGP
MotoGP Racer Explains the Challenges of Moto2
Reasons Provided for the Increased Difficulty of Moto2
Fabio Quartararo claims that competing in Moto2 can pose greater challenges than racing in MotoGP.
The 2021 top-tier class champion has experienced a rather distinctive path to victory, as he didn't particularly stand out during his time in the junior categories.

In Moto3, Quartararo finished in 10th and 13th positions. During his two seasons in Moto2, he secured 13th place with Pons Racing and 10th place with Speed Up Racing.
However, on his third try, he clinched the MotoGP championship riding a Yamaha.
In his view, Moto2 is the toughest class of them all, he mentioned to Motosprint.
"When I was racing, there were various riding techniques, making adaptation a challenge. However, in MotoGP, there's just one approach that everyone must adhere to."
"Adjusting to MotoGP was simpler for me than adapting to Moto2. While I occasionally faced issues with the brakes, that was generally the case."
"Nothing is ever guaranteed," reports indicate. Yamaha's downturn can be traced back to the 2022 season, during the period when Quartararo was trying to defend his championship title.
Despite not having secured a grand prix victory in over two years, he decided to stay with Yamaha, signing a multi-year contract earlier this season. This agreement is said to make him the highest-paid rider in MotoGP.
However, when will the Japanese company start achieving victories again?
"There are no guarantees in these areas," he stated.
Reflecting on the Sepang tests and comparing it to our present circumstances, it's evident that the contrast is stark because we now understand the direction we need to pursue.
"Altering the mindset of the Japanese engineers is not a simple task. However, as an indication of progress, we held a significant hour-long meeting on the first Friday at Misano."
"Initially, he shifted his mindset and started keeping pace with the bicycle."
"The development of the chassis represents an important advancement for us. Our primary aim is to reach Q2 more frequently, as this can transform our experience throughout the weekend."
For ten years, James worked as a sports journalist at Sky Sports, where he reported on a wide range of sports, including American sports, football, and Formula 1.

Jorge Martin’s Bold Move: Leaving Ducati’s Dominance for a New Chapter with Aprilia
Jorge Martin's candid perspective on departing from MotoGP's leading motorcycle
Jorge Martin questioned regarding his choice to leave Ducati
Jorge Martin's decision to join Aprilia in 2025 indicates that he will be departing from what is considered the top-performing bike in MotoGP.
The Ducati GP24, used by riders from both the factory and Pramac teams, has shown itself to be more advanced compared to the previous year's model that Marc Marquez is using.

However, Martin is set to switch to Aprilia next year, marking a significant transition to a different manufacturer.
He was asked how he really felt about passing MotoGP’s top motorcycle on to another rider.
"We're not sure about that," he responded to AS.
"Ultimately, we aren't certain about this, and I prefer to focus on this year, taking each race as it comes."
"Once Barcelona is over, I'll consider my plans for the upcoming year."
"I'm uncertain about what I'll discover. It could turn out to be either positive or negative, so I'll deal with it when the time comes."
Martin was questioned about whether he had ever thought about changing his mind on leaving Ducati.
"Absolutely not," he firmly declared.
"I haven't thought about changing my mind on that, and I don't plan to."
Ultimately, life presents circumstances where making choices is necessary, and this was one of those instances.
I have pursued my aspirations and aim to achieve them.
Ducati initially seemed poised to offer Pramac's Martin a spot on their 2025 factory team, but they reversed their decision and chose Marquez instead.
Martin, who for the third time did not secure the sought-after red bike, quickly signed a contract to join Aprilia as a factory rider next year.
He was questioned if his quick decision stemmed from his resentment towards Ducati for turning him down.
He insisted that he wasn't obliged to speak.
"People are entitled to their own opinions. I am at peace with the choice I've made."
Martin still has the opportunity to bring the top title to Ducati's competing Italian brand.
He is set to take over the position of his close friend Aleix Espargaro at Aprilia.
In 2025, the MotoGP scene is set to undergo significant changes as Pecco Bagnaia and Marquez team up to create a strong, albeit possibly unstable, factory Ducati duo.
Ducati will field a total of six riders, down from their previous count of eight. Additionally, they will have three factory bikes instead of four.

Pramac’s Strategic Mindset Shift: A Mental Game Plan for the 2024 MotoGP Championship Glory
Pramac's Strategy for Securing the 2024 MotoGP Championship
Insider improvements boost Jorge Martin and Pramac's quest for the 2024 championship title
Gino Borsoi, the team manager of Pramac MotoGP, disclosed that he has engaged a psychological coach this year, aiming to secure the championship in 2024.
Before the concluding race in Barcelona next weekend, Jorge Martin is ahead of Francesco Bagnaia by 24 points. Martin has the opportunity to clinch the championship during the sprint race if he manages to score at least two more points than his competitor.

If Martin clinches the championship, he will make history as the first rider from an independent team to secure a title in the contemporary MotoGP period.
This year, Borsoi has made significant personal improvements to more effectively handle the stress associated with competing for a championship. This progress has enabled him to offer more effective guidance to Martin, who has also sought the expertise of a mental coach in 2024.
"Definitely, it's a challenging endeavor," Borsoi shared with TNT Sport regarding handling a championship fight.
This summer, I made efforts to prepare myself and sought guidance from a mental coach, as it's crucial to enhance our mental strength across all aspects.
"Thus, it's clear that our preparation must encompass not only our cycling strategy but also our physical and bodily readiness."
"Truthfully, Martin and I have extensive conversations over the weekend."
"We make an effort to anticipate every possible situation, and I can offer him support on the psychological aspect. This is because, although I have experience as a rider, I've never had the chance to ride a MotoGP bike myself."
Therefore, I'm unable to offer him any guidance on how to ride.
"Thus, the sole strategy for a rider facing issues is to remain composed and continue moving forward, as any attempt to battle against the establishment or compete at a superior level would be futile."
"Thus, if things take a turn for the worse, remain composed and aim to think positively. Allowing yourself to become agitated and irate only results in wasted time."
Securing the championship this year carries extra importance for Pramac and Martin, given that they are both preparing to leave Ducati when the season concludes.
Martin is set to become part of Aprilia's official team after missing out on a promotion to Ducati's main team, while Pramac is slated to collaborate with Yamaha starting in 2025.
