The Gresini team member underwent an investigation, and FIM officials determined that he was moving at a reduced speed on the race track while practicing for the San Marino MotoGP.
The stewards determined that Marquez interfered with Enea Bastianini.
Since this was the first incident of its nature during the season, Marquez received just a formal warning as his penalty.
