AI Chip Market Set for Accelerated Growth, Says TSMC Supplier: Nvidia Concerns Dismissed as AI Boom ‘Just Begins
The provider for TSMC announces that the AI chip industry will rapidly expand, brushing off Nvidia's downfall. The Chief Executive Officer of Scientech, a firm that manufactures semiconductor packaging equipment, claims that the surge in AI is only starting.
The need for AI chips is expected to stimulate expansion in the semiconductor sector in the coming years, as stated by the CEO of a leading provider to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, who brushed off worries that investors might have misunderstood the rate and scope of expenditure on artificial intelligence.
The worldwide semiconductor market has seen an approximate 8% yearly growth in the past two decades. However, Hsu Ming-chi, the CEO of Scientech, informed Bloomberg Television that AI semiconductors are anticipated to experience a significantly greater growth rate in the future.
"The surge in the AI sector is only getting started," stated Hsu. "For the leading company, the machinery we supplied likely saw a two to threefold rise within a year."
